Time to Find a New Engineer

For the past couple of years, I’ve been working with an online engineer and producer I originally found through Fiverr. They were fast, affordable, and delivered decent work—so I kept going back.

But recently, one of the audio files they sent me was rejected by CD Baby. Why? It had metadata markers indicating AI processing—something I never asked for, and never approved.

I reached out to the engineer to ask what tool they were using, and they claimed they didn’t know anything about it. When I asked them to either stop using the tool or to run the files through a clean-up pass in Audacity before sending them to me, I got silence.

So now I’m looking for a new engineer.

If you (or someone you know) does freelance audio mixing, works quickly, and charges reasonable rates, please text me at 413-213-5767.

Thanks in advance.
