How I Wrote "Garlic Fest"

27th Annual North Quabbin Garlic and Arts Festival Saturday and Sunday, Sept 27th and 28th, 2025.  I wrote A rousing song for Orange, MA's Garlic and Arts Festival. It captures the buzz of local artisans, live music, and the wild “stinkin' chef” cook-off, celebrating community and good times.

In Orange, MA, where the foliage glows,

On Forster Farm, where the garlic grows,

The 27th year, oh, the festival's here,

September's callin', let's give a cheer!

From ten to five, both Saturday and Sunday,

Shine or rain, we'll dance the day away.

Three stages sing with music and word,

The fields come alive with the joy that's heard.
